Gallery 14 – Blueboy

This gallery opens with Blueboy, a beautiful photograph of male torso Daniel. The colour was rendered when the shot was mistakenly set on tungsten white balance when I was using the studio strobe, and thus, the reason for the blue overtone. I have done this several times in the past by accident. This accident, however, turned out to be a good one. The final image is haunting and sublime, eerily three-dimensional and sensual. I consider this to be one of the most intriguing photographs in my repertoire of work and must be seen in print to be fully appreciated.
