Gallery 24 – Leo (Part 2)
Revisiting the photographs of Leo proved to be a very interesting proposition, having photographed him nearly a year ago. My feelings and aesthetics toward the photographs have evolved into something different than what I would notice before. And this may mean that I investigate my other sets of photographs of other models. In this set of photographs of Leo, these images were taken mid-way through the shoot. In my first round of selecting images, I took a complete pass for these, but something struck me as I looked at them again. There was an intensity in his eyes that I didn’t catch initially. Some are nearly frightening or foreboding. With his rawness, I kept the images very much intact as they were photographed, but gave them a slightly subdued cool blue overcast.
